ex HMAS Canberra is on tow to Victoria
The Victorian Artificial Reef Society (VARS) has been advised that the ex HMAS Canberra has departed Rockingham WA and is on its way to Geelong.
The weather prediction is favourable for a good tow to Port Phillip Bay and the ship is expected to arrive around Monday 9th to Wednesday 11th June.
VARS has met with the Victorian Government agencies to plan the programme for the media coverage into bay on the day.
A further update will be advised when a definite arrival date is available.
