ex HMAS Canberra Reef Dive Charter Boat Operators

Parks Victoria awarded the use of two of the commercial moorings buoys on the ex HMAS Canberra dive site to Dive Victoria, the largest dive charter boat operation in the state of Victoria. All other dive charter boat operators wishing to take divers to the ex HMAS Canberra dive site, book spots on the remaining commercial mooring buoy.

Based in Portsea and offering dive charters from both Portsea and Queenscliff, Dive Victoria is the largest charter operation in Victoria. They run many charters out to the sites around Port Phillip Heads and the Ships Graveyard off Torquay. Dive Victoria offers single and double dive trips to the ex HMAS Canberra.

OzDive & Boat Charter

Mornington Peninsula

Tom Wende operates a very diver friendly charter operation. Most dive trips start from Portsea Pier, though Tom does use other pick-up points from time to time.

Queenscliff Dive Centre

Bellarine & Mornington Peninsulas

Based in Queenscliff and offering dive charters from both Queenscliff and Portsea, the Queenscliff Dive Centre caters for divers of all levels and experience. Diver training and accommodation is also available. Travel to and from the boats in our courtesy bus and relax back at the dive centre between dives. Queenscliff Dive Centre offers single and double dive trips to the ex HMAS Canberra.

Scuttlebutt Scuba operates from Torquay, not far from Bells Beach. Jeff Giddins's knowledge of the area and location of many wrecks caused a bit of gossip (scuttlebutt) amongst local divers, which eventually led to the establishment of Scuttlebutt Scuba Charters.
